Vehicle description
1971 Airstream 18" Caravel travel trailer ULTRA RARE NO RESERVE . Condition is Used. We"ve owned this trailer the past 14 years and had some great camping trips. Every place we camped, people wanted to check out this vintage Airstream. When I purchased, I added a modern DC inverter, new toilet, hot water heater and used refrigerator (still have the original frig with front cover). Removed shag carpet and installed parquet wood floor (had small plumbing leak so some now missing, see pics). When we bought, had cushions recovered and curtains made (they are faded now). Frig works off electric and propane. Stove and burners worked last time we camped, as well as all the plumbing: shower, sinks. We"ve never used heater. Has original water pump. Has holding tank for toilet and totable grey water tank. The wrap around 3 piece front window is fantastic. Window has custom made rock guards as well as front awning. Included ball and hitch with sway stabilizer. Needs new deep cycle battery -it"s been sitting for a couple years.
We were going to restore, but just don"t have the time. This cute little camper needs to be enjoyed! We"ll clean out all our camping stuff before you pick up.
Shipping Options: 1. Pick up and tow yourself. 2. You can have shipped. You"d have to set up your own shipping and pay for it. 3. If you "re less than 500 miles, Ican tow to you for a cost of $3.00 per mile.
