This Airstream is a real "diamond in the rough". The exterior is dent free and still partially covered in its original clear coat. It would take only a good polishing to create that classic Airstream look. Roof vent has been removed and thrown out. Tires are old but still hold air. I would be reluctant to tow this Caravel any great distance at this time. It will need a total restoration of the interior, including replacement of the floor. I have nearly all of the interior cabinets etc. which I intended to use as patterns because of their very poor condition. My wife and I are unable to use a camper anymore so the project has ground to a halt. Time for someone new to tackle the restoration of this classic Airstream. Restored examples of this very model are currently selling for small fortunes on eBay. I have a clear Massachusetts title in hand. Please bid early and often and have a great day.
