Vintage 1965 Airstream 17’ Caravel Bambi Travel Trailer Here we have for sale a nice, original 1965 Airstream 17" Caravel Bambi Polished trailer. I have owned this trailer for about 5 years and never ended up using it, so it"s time to sell. These small, Bambi size Airstreams are very collectible and their prices will just continue to rise and rise. They are such cute little trailers that can be towed by most, if not all suv"s and pickup trucks. They weight nothing. I started to polish the trailer, I have done quite a bit of polishing but it is not finished. I am including about $50-$60 of special polish for Airstream trailers. The trailer will have brand new 1" whitewall tires on it for the new owner. The exterior is in pretty good shape. The side, opposite of the door is in nice shape with a nice polish on it. There is some bondo work done of the corners of the side with the door. There are some scratches in the door and other places on that side of the trailer. There is also a dent in the side where the door had swung open too hard. The windows are all intact in the trailer. The interior is in nice shape on the trailer. Is pretty much all complete on the inside. The seat cushions were redone, but they are older. The trailer has not been camped in for many years now. The trailer has a wet bath room in the back of it. The trailer is complete with all its original appliances, like the oven, burners, refrigerator, and sink and faucets. I plugged the trailer into the outlet at my home and all of the electrical works in the trailer. I have never tested the gas appliances or checked the plumping. It appears to be all there. And since I have owned it, there has never been any water in the system. The trailer has nice cabinets in it. But could use some refinishing and minor repairs to them to bring out the color and beauty in them again. The trailer comes with two larger propane tanks and a weight distributing hitch and bars. That has a good value to it there! The trailer need some tlc on the outside and some personalizing on the inside and you will have yourself such a great, vintage Airstream Caravel Bambi.
