1965 Airstream Caravel 14ft body 17 ft overall This trailer is classy, nice and very comfortable to camp in and has a clear California title
We have owned this trailer for about 11 years and have only used it once a year for the Newport Dunes vintage trailer rally. We had our trailer up for sale last summer but a parent had health issues and ended up passing away so selling our trailer went on hold until now. The trailer is ready to view by appt anytime.
The trailer is in great shape for its age. There are no leaks whatsoever and the floors and belly pan are in great shape. The linoleum floor tiles are original and have some wear and a few cracks here and there -not a big deal A/C blew cold a year ago when we tried it
Sleek mid century mahogany wood interior
Cushions and upholstery are in excellent condition We have paper work and files of the history of the trailer from previous owner Mostly original interior with a few upgrades - larger dometic frig, thats why the counter top has a step down to accommodate it The gaucho area had been reconfigured to the dinette as seen in the photos, it was professionally done, and the interior was painted with original zolatone paint where the work was done to match flawlessly. Includes a brand new sunbrella awning from Kristi"s Awnings- only put up once for the photo and looks amazing.
The trailer had been painted with silver Imron paint by the previous owners in August 1991, and we never got around to polishing it out because it has needed zero maintenance other than a quick waxing. Other vintage Airstream owners didn"t even notice that it was painted until we mentioned it.
We have never used the wall heater or hot water heater and we"ve only camped where there are hookups.
Stove and oven worked fine last time they were used. All original bins included
We are available anytime to show it, its located in east San Diego county
We will not be able to take it to the Newport Dunes rally this year at the end of the month
