1964 14" Layton Travel Trailer - Title In Hand. Condition is Used.
Purchased as a full renovation and spend the past year replacing almost every piece of wood in the frame as well as welding new supports on the trailer. Trailer has been rust treated and electric brakes have been tested. Siding has been stripped several times and is partially stripped down to the aluminum.
The only part of the trailer that still needs work is the rear and ceiling. The rear needs to be supported and tied into the existing frame. The ceiling just needs the support beams installed. Trailer comes with a replacement bumper that needs to be welded on as well as remaining lumber that has been used on the rest of the trailer.
Tires hold air, but leak slowly. Purchases new tires, but they are the wrong hub configuration so the trailer should be transported on a trailer.
All but the rear windows have had broken glass replaced and all louver mechanisms have been fixed and are in working order. Rear window needs replaced or a new plate of glass added.
