For your consideration is an increasingly difficult to find mostly original example of a 1949 Spartan Royal Mansion trailer coach. This old gal needs some help if she"s to be saved however I think the original features and fixtures make her worthwhile. If not, there are plenty of great original parts to help your unit live on! Please study the pictures carefully. Outside this coach is very beat up. It was jackknifed by the tractor that was moving it. The tongue is bent but could be straightened with a hydraulic porta-power. The frame other than that appears to be very solid. The coupler works. I did not see any rust-through. The axles and hangers are also solid. The tires are shot. Wheel and tire replacement installed by yours truly will run you $600 for a brand new set. The skin has two punctures, one of which resulted in the water damage up-front shown in the pictures. There are dents on both sides as well. Inside is a different story besides the heavy water damage area pictured. The original cabinets are complete and unmolested. Much of the wood glows in splendor. The appliances are vintage but not original. The stainless bath surround is in great shape. The floor appears solid in the areas I"ve walked in, but no guarantees. If you can get past the exterior, this could be a great low-cost entry into the world of vintage Spartan trailers, which are truly a work of art! Please feel free to ask any and all questions.
