This 4/4 is an older restoration. The paint is approx 10 years old and looks like new. The paint was done by Autometric which was the go-to shop for high end cars in the Detroit area for decades. This is a very solid car. The original Ford 1200cc and 3 speed gear box were replaced at some point with a Ford 1500 and 4 speed trans. This engine and trans have both been completely rebuilt in the last 2 years. New radiator, rebuilt steering box, completely overhauled brake system. This Morgan was purchased by the last owner about 3 years ago. It was part of a local collection and spent the majority of it"s time stored and rarely driven.The new owner and his wife toured with this regularly and insisted on reliability, consequently he spared no expense to upgrade, repair or improve this Morgan. As an example, the seating was improved by increasing the length of the lower seat cushion for better thigh support and the backrest was reconfigured to increase the lumbar support. The color combination is striking. I drove this car about 40 miles this weekend over to the Concours d"Elegance in Plymouth and it is comfortable to drive in modern traffic. It has been driven many times between Detroit and Petoskey with no issues. This 4/4 was traded in on a new 2019 Plus 4 so the previous owners Morgan love continues.
