Get ready for fall driving. Fall is a great time for a Morgan. This car is the one. It has it all. The car is a very original, not restored but very well maintained. Only 46061 miles. It is ready to be enjoyed any time you want to drive it .
The great thing about the 1974 model year is that it has a lot of modern features but it still retains all of the original classic body lines, bumpers, lights, etc. It has factory tandem circuit brakes, heater, alternator, locking doors, hazard flashers, turnsignals, leather bucket seats, seat belts, locking gas cap, reverse light, fog lights, badge bar, removable luggage rack, tonneau, side curtains 1600 Ford crossfire engine and 4 speed Ford transmission (very easy to shift) and later style differential for easier maintenance, radial tires, knockoff wire wheels. The car is a matching numbers car ( this was confirmed by the ID tag and the number on the frame brace under the passenger seat).
The car is very clean underneath. The engine bay is clean but not detailed. Chrome is excellent, interior is near mint with new leather seat covers and retrimmed interior door and rear panels. The doors fit great (see photos) with only a slight amount of play in the hinges (I checked the wood carefully when the interior was out being redone and it is great and confirmed the play is confined to the hinges.) The body is excellent with no dents, rust, cracks or other damage.The paint is only a few years old. Recent maintenance includes the new leather seat covers, new vinyl interior panels, new tires, new original Weber carb, tuneup, and paint only a few years old
Everything is in working order except the reverse light and the fog lights (neither is connected). One wiper arm and blade is missing. The car starts, runs and drives great. You may be surprised by how fast and quick the car is. It is a blast to drive. It tracks down the the road fine with no shimmy or pulling to the side. The ride of the 4/4 is not as harsh the Morgan +4 or 8. The ride is comparable to other British sports cars of the time.
Included with the sale are the convertible top with clear rear windows, a tonneau with new zipper, both side curtains, jack, owners manual, extra interior trim material, and large Morgan Logo Banner.
Overall this car is ready to drive and enjoy, even show, and one you can be proud to own.
