Vehicle Details Barn Find. Really. 1959 Volkswagen Split Window Micro Bus Panel Truck. 21,000 original miles (Engine Not Included) The transmission is new and was replaced to fit the later model larger displacement engines. Nice wheels and new tires. This Van was an original panel Van that was modified to deliver appliances in NYC. The original barn doors are included. Many OEM and quality aftermarket parts included. This van was parked in a barn in 1964 until a few years ago when I acquired it. The van is very solid and though there is some surface rust, there is no structural rot, the under carriage looks worse than it really is, most of that rust will flake off the surface and there is a solid steel pan in most places. I have tried to show the good and the bad as best I can. Yes, this is a project and it's a really solid base to start from.
