Up for sale is a 1951 Spartanette travel trailer. Almost 70 years old the trailer is in outstanding condition if looked at as restoration base. Axles, brakes, frame no serious problems, just a lot of restoration work I simply underestimated when I purchased her.Exterior is partly polished, all old dirt and oxidation has been polished off and as you can see from one of the pictures the aluminum shell can be brought to high gloss shine. All lights and fixtures are present, the only missing part to make her 100% original is one hub cap which I believe is available as reproduction part. Interior is in pretty good condition. Panels under the rear windows need to be replaced. Furniture is in good condition, stove and heater are missing. Refrigerator started to work once connected to power, I could not believe it. Greenish paint in bathroom has been removed from aluminum panels which also can be polished to high gloss. 2 windows are broken and need to be replaced. Roof ventilation needs to be resealed. Cables look better than expected but plug has been cut off or simply is missing. If you want to use it as AirBNB rental or sell it for big bucks or use it as a tiny house, it will pay off as these beauties aren"t manufactured anymore and no refrigerator recently manufactured will ever work after 70 years !
