Vehicle description
2011 Cessna 162 Skycatcher Project
Only 1261hrs since new!
Cessna developed the Skycatcher to replace the Cessna 150/152 and to compete in the LSA world.
Well here for bids is your chance of owning one for a fraction of the cost
This plane was rented out and while on landing the plane started to porpoise. While a smart pilot would have elected to do a go around this pilot did nothing causing the nose gear to shear off.
The plane came to a stop resting on the lower cowling. Surprisingly the damage wasnt to bad. Wrinkle in lower firewall where the nose gear folded back, light cowling damage, prop strike, and the tail tie down ring.
I didnt see any damage to the exhaust, air box, carburetor or oil tank!
I did find a small puncture hole in the belly where the nose wheel bounced up and hit, its right before the gear box, should be a straight forward patch job.
The plane was disassembled the CORRECT way and moved inside a hanger.
Plane is clean, no damage to the wings, tail surfaces, or gear box. Repair it and fly it or maybe use is as parts to keep your fleet up and flying.
All avionics seen in the panel are included!
Sold with the Airworthiness Cert., Faa bill of sale, and complete log books. Plane is located in Lancaster PA which is just a couple hours north of D.C. & Baltimore. Make a family trip out of it and see the Nations Capital.
Any questions feel free to ask, Plane is being sold as is where is, no warranties given expressed or implied.
