Vehicle description
Resolve to hit the road this year, go camping, visit old friends, or keep old friends who are visiting you in the driveway instead of on your couch! Spend your weekends living better with less. This little trailer has no wifi, no political interests, and won"t ever disappoint you because of a referee"s bad whistle. Go to SXSW on a whim! Beach weekend on the cheap! Heck, sleep in this trailer instead of a hotel ten times and you"re putting money in the bank.
It is a project, not a finished product. We bought it as a wedding present for ourselves in the summer of 2015, did some work on it, and we used it quite a bit. But then we started having kids, and you know what, we don"t do much camping these days, and we don"t have any time to make the needed repairs!
The only substantial problem with this trailer is that the corners leak. Not in a oh-gosh-we-can"t-sleep-in-a-storm kind of way, but it needs to be fixed before the corners rot. Or else move it to the desert, I guess.
Also, the patched-together situation where the window-unit a/c fits through the wall needs to be re-done, and the a/c itself doesn"t have a lot of life left in it.
The propane cooktop works fine; the oven kind of works.
You probably want to replace the futon mattress that"s in the pictures.
The tires only have a couple hundred miles on them, but I won"t call them new because we bought them in summer 2017, the last time we packed the bearings.
The trailer brakes work fine, the driving lights work.
There"s a cd player/radio, and the inside lights and outlets work fine when it"s plugged in.
The table turns into another bed. The floor is solid.
Most of the original jalousie windows still operate.
It tows easily. It has a kitchen sink, and a title. Where can"t you and this little trailer go? Dang, I miss it already.
Thanks for bidding.
