“Low mileage, runs well for its age. The power steering belt squeals a little when it's cold, but once you're driving, it stops. Needs adjusting (it's new). A/C works when motor is running, or when hooked up to electricity.” |

Vehicle description
I"m selling my lovely motor home because I"m returning home to Australia.
It"s a 1985 Chevy G30 5.7l V8, with Shasta home and 67+ + original miles on the odometer. 21 ft long which makes it easy to park. She may be old but she runs well and has been well-maintained. As mentioned above, the power steering belt needs adjusting - since it got changed, it squeals when it"s cold. As it warms up, the noise reduces. It doesn"t cost much to adjust but it was not worth it for me to have this done. (I have put a LOT of money into this van). As far as I know, there are no other issues with the van.
The interior is lovely and clean with new upholstery and curtains in the "house". There"s a shower recess, toilet, hand basin. Hot water thanks to propane water heater. The kitchen includes propane cooker, fridge which runs on either propane or electricity, sink and cupboards. Plenty of storage! No generator or solar panels.
It can sleep 5 by folding down the dining tables (x2) or sliding out the overhead bed. Insect screens on the windows.
2 recently installed 6v gel batteries to run the house lights & new alternator (to accommodate house batteries), which cost over $1200 (I have the receipt). New spark plugs, belts, etc.
Smogged. Registered until Sept 2018.
The camper is currently in Indio. I am no longer there so have paid someone to handle the sale for me. However, I am contactable via Ebay messaging and I will co-ordinate with you and the person handing the sale, to make things flow as smoothly as possible.
Happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge, but please have patience. There will be a couple of days where I"ll be on a plane and can"t answer emails. You"re welcome to inspect.
