Vehicle description

I have a 1983 Toyota Sunrader that I have 90% remodeled. It has 77k on it. Clear title in hand. Gets almost 24MPG! Toyota truck engine with unleaded fuel.
In case you don"t know, Sunrader"s are the most sought after Toyota Mini Motorhomes. They have a cult following and are adored by their owners. There are meet ups, forums, blogs etc. so there is a lot of info out there on these awesome little RVs. Please do some research so you know a bit about it.
Technical Details: • They are made of two pieces of fiberglass (designed by a boat racer) and are therefore leak proof. • This engine is the 22re, 4 cyl, carburetor with a 4-speed manual. These are the most reliable and fuel-efficient engines. • I have clocked 20mpg on some of my trips. Obviously this depends on hills etc but makes for affordable trips. • The camper is easy to drive, shifts smoothly, rolls and turns smoothly. It drives like a big SUV and shockingly has great visibility. • Because it is only 21 feet long, you can visit every national park/forest with no restrictions. • Can easily fit into parking spaces. • Its also a truck so you can take in on moderately rough dirt roads. • It needs nothing mechanically. I brought it in before every trip just to make sure I was all-good and my mechanic always tells me to go away. • Most appliances work but fridge needs cooling system, and sink needs o-ring replaced. • It has no leaks of any kind from the engine or windows. • It does have working air conditioner"s in cab and main body. • The dinette configuration feels very spacious. Also gives space between both beds. • Has 4 beds, one dinette and one overhead cab. Total of 6 can sleep comfortably. • The bathroom is full fiberglass with no seams so no leaks/mold etc. • Has new shocks, leaf shocks and air bags. • Has hitch. • Has AC/heat pump low profile. • 15 gallon water tank. 7 gallon grey tank, 8 gallon black tank. • 2 gallon hot water heater. • New exterior stickers with fresh updated look.
There are only a few things left to do if you really wanted it to be pretty. I updated the interior to white and made it more modern with navy accents, new curtains and updated knobs and handles. This RV is ready to go Glamping! Sorry I only have the original pics. There is new flooring and dinette as of a couple of years ago when I purchased it.
Again, please do some research on this camper so you can see how cool they are and ask detailed questions. There are many groups of people that dork out on these.
We are pregnant with our second baby and moved out of state to Chicago. We had every intention that we would come back and enjoy it as a family motor home again but that dream keeps getting further away. Our friends have been storing it in exchange to use it everyone once in a while and to keep it going on weekend trips so it"s not been sitting withering away. I"m hoping I can sell it to someone that will really enjoy it and hopefully finish it. . . it"s almost there!
Below is a list of all that is new unless marked as used. There are things I"m sure I"m missing and tons of little things you just have to see. I have receipts for any services or big purchases that I did. I also have all original appliance manuals.
I have put over 5k into this camper.
Thanks!
