Vehicle description
The wagon can be driven daily. No smoke or noises from the motor and transmission is smooth. Air conditioner works good. Drives good. Tires were changed by the television director before he would use on the shoot of an episode of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD last season. Power brakes and steering is good. radio good.
The wagon was repainted tan over the original white color. Paint is ok, not great. The interior is original and all good except the drivers seat shows wear. The Padded dash has two or three cracks. The drivers door glass needs attention as it will not roll up all the way. If i were going to keep the wagon I would purchase a dash cover tor $40 and new side body molding for $60. I will purchase the dash pad, the molding and fix the window for a total of $200 if buyer want to pay extra.
I purchased the wagon last week at a classic car swap meet because of the history on the television series. I found a copy of the script under the seat. The hood still has the "make up" they spray all over the car the make it look old and mysterious. This make up will wash off with soap and water. There is a chance the director or crew will need the wagon this year so they have my phone number. Renting the wagon to them would be some extra cash.
I regret having to sell but my landlord says too many cars in the driveway.
A deposit of $500. is due at purchase. The balance is due in cash when the truck is picked up within 10 days.
