1982 Oldsmobile drag racing car. Fresh 496 engine, rebuilt 350 transmission, new MSD distributor and mini starter in box and shifter. New 4:10 gears. Engine and car built by Dave Smith. Car has set many records. This engine was the one that I ran in my 1980 Cadillac 4 door when i raced Jesse James with his big block 502 Chevy supercharged engine in another 1981 Cadillac 4 door. I beat him badly at Irwindale. That race was shown on TV may find it under Jesse James or me Sonny Routt. I ran a 6:90 eighth in my much heavier Cadillac and with the weight difference this Olds should be under 10:50 in the quarter. This engine and parts describe above have never been run or in this car. Selling as I am 82 years old and having health problems. Car not for street use also set up with a locked rear end.Thanks for looking
