I am relisting my 1978 Airstream Argosy, because the winning bidder did not complete the sale when I listed it in May. If you are unaware of the previous auction, the last picture is a screenshot of my end notification from eBay. Serious bidders only. Several bidders contacted me before and asked me for current pictures of the RV. Here they are. We went down on the 4th of July and bought new batteries for it, started it up (it fired right up), drove it to the gas station, put gas in it, drove it back to the storage facility, and then let it run for 3 hours while running the generator, the fridge, and the rooftop AC, while we cleaned it inside and out. It"s good to go. I didn"t check the water systems, because there was no water in the tank, but it did look like the water heater had popped, meaning you"ll need a new one. Also, the front driver"s side plastic around the bumper cracked and broke, so that will need to be fixed. We could not get the awning down because it"s stuck from being rolled up for a couple of years. With a water hose, and a third person, and it should come right down. Mechanically though, it should be good to take it wherever you need to go. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
