I have owed this airstream for a little over a year. My wife and I purchased it thinking we would use it to camp more but we just don"t have the time. So I letting it go for some else to enjoy. We have taken it on 3 trips. One of 500 miles, one of 700 miles, and one of 200 miles. I pull it with my 2005 F250 super duty and I haven"t a had a problem pulling it. The tires are the ones that were on it when I bought it. They look good but I don"t know how old they are. I was told that the wheel bearing were greased right before I bought. I have done any work on wheels or axles, but I have had an issue. We remodeled the interior and I polished the outside last summer. The shine has dulled a little but still looks nice. We a new small domestic awning on it last summer. I added 2 manual leveling jacks in the rear. The barnwood walls are wallpaper
The Bad: There are a few dings and dents but not bad for it"s age. I don"t know anything about the history of its repairs. The furnace has never been started since I have owned it. We haven"t needed it since we only camp in summer. Truthfully I haven"t even looked at it. The original refrigerator wasn"t working so I removed it and put in a small used electric mini fridge and on our last trip it stopped working. Electric tongue jack only works sometimes, but you can jack it up manually. Toilet seat broke off the toilet. Toilet still works and seat is still there but we never tried to fix it. We never tried to use the oven. The inverter doesn"t work. Might be something simple. I just don"t have time to check it out. Some of the wall paper is lifting and needs re-glued
The Good: Gas hot water heater works. Stove top burners work. New battery last summer. New black LP tank cover. New awning. Roof AC cools good. New microwave. New mattresses. New futon couch. Hard wood floors.
