1973 Shasta Stratoflyte 18’ Deluxe. Very Good, Mostly original condition. Original upholstery, original paneling, original fixtures, original appliances, original flooring and mostly original paint. This is not a restored unit but a camper that has been well maintained and used 1-3 times every summer. I have owned the camper for about 10 years. Always stored in dry New Mexico, no serious rust. No one ever lived in it. New toilet a few seasons ago and most of the plumbing has been replaced or updated over the years. Stove works great, furnace is awesome, refrigerator works good on gas but not electricity. All interior lights, porch light and power converter work properly. No A/C, we never needed it. All windows and vents open and close properly, all screens are good. This camper has dual axles with trailer brakes that work, so it"s super easy to pull. It"s only about 2,700 lbs., my 6-cylinder Toyota Tacoma pulls it easily. Could sleep up to 6; sofa pulls out for 2 adults, bunk drops down for 2 children and table drops down to sleep 2 people. Truthfully, this camper is perfect for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Top bunk has been well reinforced, but probably not suitable for adults. Lots and lots of storage throughout. Roof has leaked in the past but was repaired as soon as I noticed and has no leaks currently to the best of my knowledge. Floor is solid all over. This Shasta either had its wings removed at some point or was more likely purchased as “wings delete” option (they could be had either way in ’73). You can see where the wings were mounted or intended to be mounted as there are screws in the mounting holes. Either way, you can install wings for the quintessential Shasta look if you should desire. Comes with original aluminum jack stands, which are sort a pain so I will include 4 hydraulic bottle jacks. Tires are fairly new; bearings were packed a few seasons ago. Newer gas hoses and regulator. This camper may show a little wear and age, but it is totally ready to go camping in. Battery is charged up and the propane tanks are full. The only reason I am selling is my kids are getting big and I bought a larger Airstream type vintage camper to go camping in. I have always been very proud of this Shasta. This Camper is sold as-is/ where is. Please ask any questions or request specific photos. Inspection invited.
