Vehicle description
I had to relist this item because the last person who won failed to pay me after 5 days and wanted more pictures to "decide what to pay". That is not how business is done, so DO NOT BID if you are not 100% positive you want this. That being said, if you pay for it, I will help you in any way possible. This Airstream is a restoration project. I rescued this from being scrapped at a campground and I am moving so I wont have the place to restore it the way I want to. The subfloor is exposed, and the belly pan is missing. The previous owner pulled it off and tied this into the campground water and sewage. It was intended to be permanent. He also put a square air conditioner in the front, no idea why. This model has the rear bath set up, and it will need substantial frame repair. I pulled it from the lot on a 2 hour drive and it still pulls like a dream. It does have brand new Brakes, backing plates, hubs, etc. The axles are fine. There are no leaks that I have noticed and the tires are in really good shape. None of the windows are broken, but the door handle does not work. This could be an in depth interesting restoration, or it could be dropped on a foundation, gutted and turned into a cute tiny home. My loss is your gain. And Im starting it cheap with NO RESERVE! Clear NC title. What you see is what you get, the interior is ready to get ripped out and the subfloor is already exposed. The aluminum is in good condition with the exception of a couple of dents and the obvious non-stock a/c. The frame is the biggest issue, but I had planned to make a brand new frame with better support and relocate the bathroom from the rear to the center anyway. Your call. It would make an amazing and fun project. I just cant move it with all my other household goods and 2 vehicles. This is on newer wheels though not shown and it is no longer sitting on blocks. These pictures are how i rescued it.
