For sale is a 1979 Airstream Sovereign 31’ travel trailer. This trailer has been updated and gone over while keeping it mostly original. The trailer is in great shape and is ready to be used. The trailer weighs just over 5,000 lbs. The kitchen area houses a double sink along with a propane 4 burner stove/oven. The stove has some wear marks around the burners but is in good working condition. The original fridge/freezer is working well. A Newer microwave is in the kitchen as well. The living room has a nice open floor plan with a gaucho couch and a two-leaf folding table that tucks into the wall when not in use. The gaucho was left original so the new owners could have it upholstered in whatever fabric they prefer. The bedroom area contains two matching twin mattresses that have new unused sheets/pillows. There is overhead storage above the beds along with storage compartments under the beds as well. The bathroom area contains a toilet, sink, and a full bath/shower with a removeable shower head. The bathroom area is in excellent condition. New solid bamboo flooring has been laid throughout the entire trailer which complements the interior nicely. We removed the non-working original A/C unit and added a newer unit that is in good working condition. The trailer has a new invertor as well. The exterior of the trailer is in good condition. We removed the exterior clearcoat to reveal the bare aluminum underneath. Some areas of the exterior corners look blotchy from where the sun previously penetrated through the clearcoat. The trailer has not been polished and does not have a mirror finish that a polished trailer would have. With that said, the trailer is prepped and could be polished at any time. There are a few small dents on the banana skins and the lower parts of the trailer as well. The trailer sports brand new wheels and 8 ply tires that accent the trailer very well. Overview of what we have added to the trailer - Newer air conditioner in good working order - new invertor - Solid bamboo flooring throughout the trailer - four (4) brand new wheels/ 8-ply tires - stripped clearcoat on exterior - tested/fixed all systems. Overall this is a very nice late 70’s Airstream. Your addition of curtains and upholstery will make the trailer truly beautiful. Everything has been gone over and the systems tested. The trailer does not leak. Everything works and the trailer is ready to hit the road.
