Vehicle description
This is sold as is. I am trying to show everything in pictures and the description. This great camper has the double bed in back with extra storage space. It tows great, the brakes work well, the interior panels and roll-up doors are like new, and other than the original fridge, everything works. That said, we didn"t use the furnace. We fired it up once, but just didn"t trust it, but the little heater worked great for us. The jack works, but lost electrical connection when l moved the trailer to the front of the house, something must be loose. It has been sitting, and the systems need to be looked over before use. The body has scrapes on both side on the lower panels, they were patched up years ago, it looked good for a while. I was going to replace the converter, but it works okay, it is original. There is a fixable hole in the fiberglass bathroom sink, the cabinet under the kitchen sink need repairs, and the fabrics are getting old. There must have been a leak in the upper forward windows in the past, which stained the cloth. It doesn"t leak at at all now, two hurricanes in the last two years tested that. 8 years ago, We bought this great Airstream from an older family member who had it since the late 70s. They drove it all around the country until they were no longer able to drive. We camped many times in it, and had many other campers ask to see inside. It is super cozy and brought many happy nights to our family. During this time, we redid the floors, the underlayment is solid, with no soft spots. Replaced interior lighting, replaced all the clearance lights with LED"s. I bought two new 30 gal. propane tanks, and I also added the protective shield to the front. Then we got a fixer upper home which took our time and money. We didn"t camp the last three years. Sadly for us, now it"s time to give it a new home with someone who has time to finish it and give it the care it deserves.
