The Moon Dance is a 1971 Shasta Compact vintage camper trailer. She’s 50 years old, but almost in original condition and she is tres chic! There is some minor water damage around hatch where a bad seal was replaced (see photo) no longer leaks and it is otherwise ready to go camping! The dinette folds into a full size bed two adults and there is also a hide-away bunk that will fit another adult or two kids but is also great for storage. We have not used the appliances, but the 3 burner stove, oven and furnace appear to be rarely used, the fridge needs a repair to the shelf in the door but seems clean and in good shape. One will need to check these items before anything other than boondocking. Propane lines seem to be in good condition. The original light fixtures are still intact and working. The faucet can be hooked up to city water or there is a small fresh water tank and handpump as well. For a camper of this size, there is a ton of storage space. Other than the drawers, overhead cabinets, and compartments under the dinette, there are also two closets. One is large enough to store a porta potty if you chose.The brake lights and turn signals are working fine, but the original marker lights/taillights did not light up. Moon Dance has her original wings! The Shasta has a clear title. It is an awesome little camper, just slightly too small for our family.
