We"ve purchased too many solid projects this year at GlampinCampin and must choose to find new homes for a few! Up for grabs first is this 1968 Shasta 1500. She is a sturdy girl ready for someone to spend a little time loving her back to her original state. Her skin is lovely with minimal imperfections, ready for some new paint. She has brand new, original styled wings(as she was robbed of hers!) and her original metal emblems as well. Each of her windows are original and glass jalousie style, this alone makes her amazing! She has all of her original parts, minus her original cushions and curtains. .thank goodness, they were 50 years old! A very good project, however this would require someone with general carpentry skills and/or someone who is willing to help you! There has been a water leak around the vent and will require either a replacement or simply covered and redesigned without it. As with any vintage restoration, her corners should be firmed up as well before any "sprucing" of the interior or any exterior paint is applied. This camper is a great restoration candidate, however she is 50 years old and the buyer should expect to perform repairs. Happy to help with a little sensible, tried and true restoration advice should you need it.
