Vehicle description
This trailer has been mechanically and structurally renovated. Only the fun part, designing the interior, remains.
If you: Want to redo an Airstream to your own specifications and design, but Don"t want to have to deal with jacking the shell off the chassis to replace the subfloor Don"t want to have to replace axles or brakes or lights Then this trailer is for you.
Most old vintage Airstreams have rot and mold. The only way to replace the rotted subfloor is to use a series of jacks to pop the top of the frame off the chassis.
We already did that, so you have a solid, clean, worry-free canvas to paint your dreams on.
These old trailers also didn"t have much blackwater/greywater capacity, so we"ve welded a second tank mount under the frame. The trailer comes with two untapped rotomolded tanks ready to be installed.
The trailer comes with spare parts, emblems, tanks, 2x 100W AGM batteries, an AC distribution panel, electrical wires, a rooftop Air Conditioner, and two rooftop exhaust fans.
Update: After a showing this morning I failed to fully secure the aft hatch, which fell out and bent when I began driving. It"s repairable, but budget $250 to repair it to the condition shown in the pictures.
