Up for auction is this1963 Shasta camper. The camper is in decent condition for it"s age and does not leak. I"ve used it recently to camp at a vintage camper show. The paint is very dull and appears to have been brushed on over the original paint. The previous owner ran temporary wiring and electrical outlets that appear to be in working condition (seen in photo near the front window). The heating and plumbing are not functional. The rear window is blocked out with wood but the original rear window is included in the sale. It will need some general preventive maintenance like tires and or minor repairs to interior or exterior depending on buyers intended use. The current tires are old but will hold air. This is the short model Shasta, the camper itself is about 10 feet in length plus the hitch assembly and is very easy to tow with almost any vehicle. This camper sleeps two comfortably and I have had three but it"s tight. This model does not have or require brakes. It requires a 2"ball hitch. Due to it"s age, non-functional plumbing, heating and limited electrical the camper is being sold "as-is" and buyer may need to perform general repairs and upgrades. Original vintage campers like this are getting harder and harder to find these days and are becoming more and more sought after by hot-rodders, pickers, restoration and vintage camping enthusiasts Thanks for looking.
