1962 SHASTA TRAVEL TRAILER 16" WITH STEP IN BATHROOM RARE SETUP!
This unique Shasta has the best floor configuration of any 16" vintage travel trailer I have seen! Weighs in around 2000 lbs. Super solid Unlike most trailers of this size with bathrooms , most have a bed that pulls out from the side (making it in the way when you are cooking or not sleeping ) It has a front section gaucho/bed that fully made up is out of traffic areas ! SWEET ! It also has original canvas cot that goes above that and stores neatly under gaucho . It appears to be in unused, excellent condition. it features a super large kitchen counter, sink with pressurized water , ( cleverly done by displacing air with bicycle pump) propane fridge, and stove . original electric lights with single outlets . Dinette has new upholstery and it folds down to another bed . Cute rounded off rear side door leads to step-in bathroom. Originally was plumbed with toilet , has been converted to portapotti/composting toilet bathroom. much easier system to use and less water weight and mess to deal with. Toilet not included
this trailer has tons of storage and feels incredibly large inside . I have sold and seen many Shastas over the years and never have come across the excellent layout this Shasta has.
it has all it"s original slider doors, screen door , wings . All windows and screens intact. new interior and exterior paint, caulked and sealed no leaks , new vent . original marker and tail lights. new tires and spare, new full moon caps. New vintage style flooring . clear title , located in Portland Oregon all systems checked and working . comes with 2 stabilizing jacks . grab this trailer before it"s gone , unlikely to ever see another like it!
