Full shell off restoration that took over a year. This Airstream was a custom order in 1962 to allow a Washington State couple take part in many Wally Byam Caravan Club Caravans all over North America. It"s the Caravanner floor plan but stretched to 24 feet. Rebuilt from the ground up. The original owners were Willard and Blythe Stanton, of Des Moines, Washington withe the Wally Byam Caravan Club number 6163 (the big red numbers) The trailer has been carefully restored to preserve the originality but provide modern convenience and reliability.
New Dexter torsion axle with new electric brakes (and wiring)
New Dexter powder coated steel wheels in keeping with original style
New ST225 75/15 tires including spare through Frank"s Tire in Union Gap
New sub floor in full sheets (not pieced in like some restorations that leave the body on)

I have 100% positive feedback since joining over a decade ago and want that same rating when this transaction is complete. That being said, please remember this is a 55 year old trailer, she"s restored, she"s beautiful but she is 55 years old so there are little beauty marks that I"ve done my best to document in photos.
I"m willing to store this for a few days after payment for buyer pickup, or can help buyer arrange for longer term storage. Willing to work with buyers using uship or other means of transport. International buyers are welcome!
