My New Tiny Home
1961 Shasta Airflyte 16’
Newly renovated
New paneling, new cushions and fabric, new floor, new wiring, new paint, new insulation,
New portable AC, refrigerator, toaster/coffee maker, new black water tank, 5 gal gray water tank, new exterior lights,
tires in good condition, original chevron cabinet pulls, original Shasta magazine rack, Original interior lights (except Humphrey Gas light),
original sink, original Shasta emblem, Bargman door handle, new fresh water inlet, and New Wings!
We completely gutted this Shasta and stripped 10 layers of paint off the exterior. She has new drip rail, new putty tape and caulk and has
been reframed in places. She has had a few leaks, but those have all been fixed. Every screw in her is new. We reconfigured the interior layout
a bit to accomodate a toilet/shower closet. This has not been completed… all you need is to add the toilet, and hook it up, We stopped finishing the toilet closet because of some personal issues and we now have to sell. She does not have a freshwater tank, but the plan was to put
a tank under the front seat. We have camped in her a few times and she is very cozy and pulls great. We pull her with our Volvo SUV. We were able to sleep 4 people. The side
gaucho pulls out and can sleep two small people and the front dinette sleeps two adults. She has a cover and a spare tire.
We call her Cupcake… because she is so pretty and sweet
