Vehicle description
This 1948 25 foot Spartan Manor has undergone a shell off partial restoration.
We really wanted to finish it, but we had to move and have no place to put it at our new house. The chassis have been fully restored. New hitch added. Original Warner brakes have been reconditioned. The chassis were thoroughly stripped, cleaned and painted with POR-15 chassis paint. New subfloor has been added. The two floor boards that go over the wheel wells have been cut to fit, but have yet to be painted and installed. We were waiting to see what provisions we might make for holding tanks and other utilities before we fit these two pieces. Includes original lock ring rims.
The trailer is completely gutted and wood bracing has been added for support. The shell has issues. The biggest issues are some holes around the forward door where someone tried to pry it open at some point. We were going to just rivet a patch over this area. There is a large dent on the top corner on the rear left. It should role out fairly cleanly. Most of the rub rail is damaged. Replacements are available. Some of the skirt around the hitch has been scratched up and bent. Front windows are gone. Scratches and dents throughout. The wheel well covers are included. One needs straightening. The forward door has been removed for cleaning and restoration. All original side glass windows are included and roll down window mechanisms are working. Rust stains should polish out.
If you want them we do have some of the interior pieces for patterns.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
