This S8 has 104,xxx original miles, looks like a million bucks, and drives like a million bucks too! - - Exterior 9 out of 10 (I"m finicky) - Great overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. No dings, no dents, only a few minor touched-up scratches here and there, and many of those will come out in detailing. This S8 looks amazing, with a deep shine to the glossy phantom black paint that"s like looking into a mirror. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage. - - This Audi S8 wears all its original body panels with VIN# stickers. All paint on the aluminum body panels is original. Only the front bumper cover has been repainted due to a minor parking lot incident, and that was done wall. Even the lower side-body moldings are in nice shape. Chrome, rubber, glass, trim is all very nice. No oxidation, fade, wear, rust, etc. This car lives much of its life in CA and MT so very little salt use on the roads. It has been garaged since new. - - Check out the body panels, they are nice and straight! – - The 265/35/20 matching Pirelli Winter tires have plenty of tread remaining at roughly 50%. The factory wheels are true with no bends, but do have some marks to the surfaces. This S8 drives straight as an arrow at any speed you choose. - - I have serviced this S8 completely, including new wiper blades, valve cover gaskets, detailing, and more for over $1000! All the above work was done within the last 200 miles. She’s 100% ready to go.– - Interior 9.9 out of 10 - The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, and carpets are in amazing original condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, very little wear of any kind on the leather (driver’s bolster and rear seat show nearly zero wear). Everything looks and feels near-new. - - The door panels are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. - - Even the trunk is mint. - - This S8 has all the great factory options, including Bang & Olufsen stereo system with tweeters that rise up out of the dash ($6300), technology package including blind spot assist, lane keeping assist, and radar guided cruise control ($3500), solar sunroof ($790), 4-zone climate control ($600), and carbon fiber inlays throughout the cabin ($600). Original MSRP was $108,715! Best of all, at its current 104K miles, ALL of those options, and all other standard equipment, works perfectly. No dead solar roof fan, no MMI screen that refuses to rise out of the dashboard using its motor, no noisy rear sunshade, no NOTHING. Everything works! - - Electrical 10 out of 10 - All lights, switches, radio, windows, wipers, seat motors, and power mirrors work perfectly. Power lock system, remote gas door, and remote trunk release all work as well. The dual HVAC systems for front and rear passengers are fast to respond, and perfect with hot heat and ice-cold A/C. The air suspension system works perfectly. - - Mechanically 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and drives in every gear smooth and strong. Transmission is smooth and up/downshifts properly. This S8 does NOT have the common abrupt 1-2 upshift. It’s perfect! She runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. THIS S8 DOES NOT SHIMMY, RATTLE, AND SHAKE LIKE ALL THE OTHER ONES OUT THERE WITH WORN DRIVESHAFTS, SUSPENSION BUSHINGS, MOUNTS, ETC. No clunks or thinks over bumps, tight as a drum! There are no leaks. - - Engine is strong and powerful, transmission smooth and this S8 cruises easily at triple-digit speeds all day. Brakes are solid and pedal feel is firm (although front rotors need replacing soon). Suspension is tight like new, but floats on a cloud just like an S8 is supposed to do. Steering nicely weighted with no play in the box. This car drives and handles like new. - - Even the undercarriage is in amazing condition after 104K miles on the road! - - This 2009 Audi S8 has its original books, two keys, and I just did over $1000 worth of service and maintenance. With only 104K miles, it’s not even broken in yet! All you have to do is drive. - - If someone selects the buy-it-now option, I will provide the following: front brake rotors, a full detailing mentioned above including engine bay, carpet shampoo, leather conditioning, orbital polishing, etc. I"ll also include a set of all-season tires, and phantom-black touch-up paint.
