Purchased new at TEEFY Pontiac in Jenkintown Pa May 1. 1964 by Mary Lois Scutt who owned and loved it for over 50 years. Is she possibly the proverbial "Little old lady"? EXTERIOR
Always garaged the overall appearance is very presentable. Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) has a special judging class for original cars (such as this Tempest) H.P.O.F. (Historic Properties Original Features). We wouldn"t hesitate to put this amazing classic on the show field. The mostly original paint, chrome, convertible top and weather stripping are all very presentable but they do show age. There is no rot or perforation rust through. INTERIOR
The carpet and the vinyl seats do show some aging however no rips or tears. MECHANICAL
Both owners have lovingly maintained this classic convertible. Driven regularly it performs on the road as if it were new. We did notice that the top motor turns but top does not move. Most of the power windows are working. FEATURES
