The Real Deal Ford Excursion 2004 XLT 6.0 Diesel - this thing has been upgraded to last - be dependable and run strong. I have owned this truck going on 4 years now. Below is the list of most of the work done to the truck; I have all receipts for work and most accessory parts. Person I bought the truck from put over 20K worth of work into it before I got it (have receipts for that work as well). I am not a mechanic, but paid good mechanics and shops to do additional work (listed below 25K plus; I have all receipts for this work as well). Don’t call with technical questions because chances are I cannot answer them. I can give you proof (receipts) and the truck speaks for itself once you take it for a test run. Send mechanics, whomever you want to verify work. This is a good deal to be had! If you enjoy Excursion like I do then this is a MUST have. I have owned a 7.3 Excursion - does not compare! ! Read what you want, this 6.0 leaves the 7.3 in its dust, reliability/ performance- no longer an argument with the work performed. I have owned this truck for 4 years and only reason I am selling is that I need a smaller vehicle as a daily driver due to work- this truck is not meant to be a second vehicle. Pricing this to make a quick sell. This truck has every option one would need on it including a built in GPS/back up camera/DVD player. Remote start that not only starts the truck from a mile away but also tells you on your FOB when the truck is running. I set out to make this truck the most reliable and safe that I could with no intention of ever selling it. I had installed an updated and improved steering box. Another update I did was an install of air override suspension that is controlled from inside the truck for leveling loads; I also installed a leveling kit on the front end. The 6.0L diesel (which is the newer/better diesel not the early 03-04) has had every update and improvement you can imagine. The price is set for far less then what I have into this truck just by way of parts and updates, someone is going to get a really good deal on a really nice truck!
