Vehicle description
This Excursion is in outstanding mechanical condition and both the factory Mineral Gray Clearcoat Metallic exterior and the Medium Parchment Leather interior are in well above average condition and show less signs of use one would expect for a 2004 year model. I have tried my best to show the vehicle to represent its true condition. Accident was very minor (hit the back of a Honda at less than 5mph), no repairs were made on the Excursion. This is truly the best family tow vehicle ever made and I have done many upgrades to it both for towing safety and for mechanical dependence! The truck has not been lifted! ! I installed a front leveling kit so that the vehicle runs and sits level, added Maxx 8 1500lb rated custom wheels for better towing (most custom wheels are NOT rated for towing) and added adjustable air bags so you can adjust the ride height to match tow weight. I used to run a banks kit but had it disconnected. The tuner and gauges are still in the vehicle and the 4" exhaust obviously stayed. I used to own a Car Dealership and had my mechanic change the injectors and head bolts at approximately 65,000 miles (no receipts). At 112,000 miles I had the turbo replaced at Orange County Diesel (have receipts). At 117,700 I had the following items changed also at Orange County Diesel and have the receipts: New engine wire harness, injector pressure regulator, new intercooler CAC tubes & clamp assembly, new EGR valve and new fuel injector wire harness. So this engine is as solid as they come. Tires are relatively new and have lots of life left.
This is my second excursion and have loved both of them. The reason for selling is the kids have grown and no longer need a vehicle this size, I"ve only put about 15,000 miles on it in the last 2 1/2 years. Vehicle comes with the original Books and the (2) original Key Fobs. This bullet proof Diesel is ready to go. If you"re looking for an excursion and don"t want any headaches this is the one!
