Vehicle description
There is so much to list about this fully loaded, fully customized, Ford Excursion Turbo Diesel 4x4. I originally sold this truck to it"s current owner. This is a single owner, meticulously maintained, 100% documentation included, Eddie Bauer Excursion. This vehicle has always been garage kept and no expense spared in keeping it in perfect running and mechanical condition. From the custom paint work, to the train horn, to the strobe lighting kits, etc. This Excursion has it all! Yes, it actually has a full scale train horn install underneath! Not a clone, a real train horn. Yes, people will move!
It"s tan two-tone leather interior is in excellent condition. Captain chairs front and rear, also with the 3rd row read seat and tons of storage space. Some items to mention: Sinister Diesel EGR Kit, ARP Headstud kit, Garrett Power Max Turbo Kit, Fuel System Kit, etc. All fuel injectors were replaced, gasket for cylinder heads, oil pan, valve rocker arm cover, etc. At 300k, flushed brakes, transmission, coolant, power steering, all new hoses, shocks, new a/c compressor, and condenser. At 316k, all new tires (look at the photos, serious tread left) New brakes front and rear, new batteries, and at 334k, oil change and rotation. We have every service record in a 3 ring binder and they will show nearly $60,000 spent in maintenance and upkeep. I seriously doubt anyone could find a Excursion with a more extensive maintenance an upkeep history. My friend spares no expense in keeping his vehicles safe, reliable running and up to date.
Almost all of the mileage is from highway travel. The tires rotated and oil has been changed every 5,000 miles. Fuel filters every 10,000. New leather seat covers were installed in 2016. Plus, new seat heaters installed on front seats. Again, no expense was sparred.
The only reason for the sale is they do not travel as much as they used to and more space is needed in the garage for new toys. The custom paintwork has very intricate detail and all work was professionally completed, which is clear in the photos.
There is a train horn (too keep the theme) installed underneath the vehicle. Not a cheap aftermarket copy, a REAL train horn. There are emergency strobes installed which make this thing flash and light up like a Secret Service vehicle. The strobes are white to comply with Maryland law. If you look close at the photos, steps installed all the way around and tons of aftermarket features. Kenwood touch screen to replace the factory stereo. DVD and small TV is factory in the overhead for rear passengers.
As always, these are my original photos, not copies. I have PERFECT feedback and there are no surprises here. The 3 ring binder with the entire service history will be provided to the winner bidder. I will do my best to answer any and all questions as quickly as possible. I may need to rely on the owner for some answers so please give me a few hours to respond.
The vehicle is located in Maryland and can be viewed by appointment only. Again, I cannot stress enough about the owners car collection. He spends significant money to keep his vehicles in excellent condition and never cuts corners on any items. The reserve is set based on current market value on a vehicle in this condition with this type of extensive service history. You cannot find anything close. Lower miles, perhaps, this condition, not even close! What I cannot express here through photos and a short description is how nice this truck is. If you"re into the train them and custom work, this is a home run. Thank you and good luck. Ed W.
