Vehicle description
FOR SALE: 1984 Pontiac Parisienne Station Wagon with 305 V8 Computer Controlled Carburetor, AC, Fully-Optioned. Mileage unknown - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This Pontiac lived in Phoenix AZ (dry desert climate) for most of it life. It sat unused inside a garage for years - it did start and drive. It has very minimal surface rust only. Original interior still okay but aged and faded. I brought it to Tulsa and have gotten it into dependable running condition. Since I have too many projects I am letting this one go. This is a good drivable project car and lots has been done.
A great running, daily driver has had lots of work done and new parts over last 2 years of ownership:
- Professionally rebuilt original carburetor (by Kelly at KC Automotive) - New Fuel pump - New Starter Motor - New Flywheel - New front and rear engine main seals - New valve cover gaskets - New oil pan gasket - New ignition system - New oil pressure sensor - radiator flushed and pressure-tested - New Air Condition compressor and parts & recharged - New fan blower motor - New NOS am/fm radio with cassette - New Dash top overlay - Repaired/restored power driver seat system - New wiper motor, new washer pump - New control lever/switch for Cruise Control, lights, wipers - New brakes redone as needed including master cyl, vacuum diaphragm, etc. - New gas shock absorbers - New suspension bushings where needed - New muffler and catylitic converter - New tires - new complete bumper infills ready to install - new light bulbs where needed - new speedometer cable and replaced oem dashboard cluster (odometer is not correct) - new transmission gasket and fluid - new differential fluid and gasket - includes 1960s Pontiac wheelcovers. And still have original wire wheelcovers too. - Includes hard to find original service and parts manuals
Known things to do: - right front window has broken track/support, motor works - drivers door lock needs key cyl. fixed or replaced (stuck) - drivers window track and latch neded TLC - repaint body - strip & repaint or re-overlay paint on side panels which were originally wood grain vinyl* - need to install included new window sweeps - need to install included bumper infills - tailgate lock/window switch needs repair
* woodgrain area had been part scraped off and painted over (very rough) Had wrong clear coat added and is peeling. This really needs to be fixed but it looks okay from a distance, roughly the same color. See close up picture
NADA values say average retail value range is $3150 to $3780. I have more $$ into this car but priced at $2999 BIN but will consider offers.
