About this vehicle This 1984 Pontiac Parisienne is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Sure, it has some quirks, but it has never broken down, has had good regular engine maintenance, and at 125900 ish miles is likely the lowest original miles big body you will find, besides something that has been garaged/non-driven. When you buy this car, you are bidding on a functional 305 and chassis. Nothing is garaunteed except that it runs and you can drive it away, and nothing else is being offered, except a written overview of known cosmetic/accesory issues, like a non-funtioning radio head unit(sub seems to still work) that will be contained in the glove box. Notarization of transaction and copy of valid identification or passport will be required for the sale, please remove your address from the copy, and remove some of the first numbers from your id number. This is to garauntee that the vehicle will not be used for illegal activities This car is perfect for a rebuild, and if no one buys it, I will do it myself and take it to auction. THIS IS NOT a 300k mile junk car, THIS IS NOT a tijiuana taxi, this is a rebuild opportunity with lots of potential configurations. I have not checked, but I assume it has matching serials as I am the 3RD OWNER in over 37 YEARS! There are visual/accessory issues, but car is mechanically sound, starts, and has AC. Made from mostly steel, and with only 125k miles I have turned down free cars offered from friends and family, on the basis that mine is more reliable, faster, better looking, a better investment, and American. All of the cars I was offered over the last 4 years have had mechanical problems. Other than replacing a 30 year old starter, to my knowledge. no major mechanical work has ever been performed on this vehicle, and in it's current state, my guess is that it would continue to run for another 75-175k miles. I have never heard of a properly maintaned big body from this era having less than 200k on it before being retired. There is a huge market for polished cars of this type, and for the entrepreneur, or collector, I believe this is a very rare opportunity to get a nearly completely original big body with a 305. If you just need something to get by, this car is actually increasing in value. And guess what? No excessive need for silicon chips. Other than the radio, this thing only has one chip that I know of.
