Here’s a 1980 Rabbit Truck I bought as another project. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to finish it up. Truck is a manual transmission and has roughly 87000 miles on it. We got the truck to fire up and idle (roughly). The motor sounds solid when revving. I haven’t driven the truck due to it needing to have the fuel tank cleaned. We were running it off an external tank while working on it. Truck had a tree branch fall in the roof when parked at previous owners place. It broke the windshield as seen in pics. The truck has some cancer at the top corners of both fenders around the windshield area. There are some tiny holes forming as well in the bed towards the front by the cab in one corner. The rear quarter underneath has some cancer as well behind the rear wheel. Underneath the truck seams solid from what I can tell. All electronics seem to work fine in the truck.
Truck has new parts on it.
New parts: Spark plugs Distributor cap and rotor Fuel pump Coil pack Plug wires Injector o-rings Starter Fuel lines and injectors cleaned Fuel pump relay bypassed
