Hello European car fans! !
Here"s a nice honest car. Well cared for and ready for its new caretaker. Being a California car it does have the benefit of being totally rust free. Zero rust body.
This is a registered, insured daily driver. We recently took it on a Covid get out of town roadtrip to Utah, Az and Las Vegas. Its a real cruiser.
With its long wheel base it is a pleasure to drive on the open roads. It does not smoke or have any funny noises. New battery, fluids, brake inspection, cat back exhaust for the smog needed states. It is all original even the Becker radio and working antenna.
That being said it is a driver quality car, not a show car. I drive it as is but a new owner may want the paint redone. This is a really nice driver, not a show car. The interior is really nice with the original leather seat hides. Headliner is excellent, chrome and bumpers are nice. Recently serviced the front end. New upper control arms and bushings. 4 new shocks.
Trans gasket, oil pan gasket, trans seal, rear main seal replaced. New rear axels, new radiator, coolant flush.
New steering pump, steering box, and coupler.
Alternator replaced. Fuel pump replaced and vacuum leaks repaired.
New muffler and catalytic converter.
New plugs and distributor cap.
New Hibachi Servo amp and aux water pump.
A/C charged and blows cold. New cam oilers, timing chain and oilers are good.
One window, locks and CC are non op.
Door panels, carpet, rear package tray, headliner etc are really nice and original.
Heater, lights, gauges including clock, A/C, heat all function as they should. The speedo works but the needle is lazy. It does not register the correct speed. The tires are 4 years old or so. I will include an extra set of 4 Bund alloy wheels in the auction so you will have 2 wheel options for the car.
The chrome and glass are all real nice. This is a light resto needed or drive as is car. The exterior paint is not original and has scrapes, blemishes, fading here and there. Some paint cracking on the upper 1/4 panel area near the antenna. Patina or repair? Up to the new owner.
