Vehicle description
Chance to own a true Mercedes Classic that is in great demand, and has great investment potential!
Up for sale is a MB 450 SEL 6.9 Euro Version (Euro headlight and bumpers). The car has 101225 on the odometer. I have the original title. I am selling this car and other cars in my collection because I am 71 years old and have developed Carpel tunnel. I can"t use my hands to work on the cars anymore. This 450 SEL 6.9 as with my other cars were all runners up until a year ago, that"s when I stopped working on them. The 6.9 is a complete car. It was running great a year ago. The care has lots of torque, but uses much gas (12 to 14 mpg). No problems with the motor or transmission. Mercedes Benz cars are made to last. All my runners always ran and performed great! The suspension was working great. The car will sit down if not used at least once a week. I bought the car some years ago and was going to have it painted (Original green paint is faded), seats and interior all original. Some cracks on the dash. Sunroof works. Electric windows work. Radio (Original) works. Lights work. As I stated before, I was going to have the car painted. Some rust on the rocker panels. All chrome. Great shape (Euro bumpers) intact. No rust on the actual upper body (See Photos).
Rust work (Lower rockers) New paint on right rear wheel flange New tires Oil Changed Small crack on front windshield Interior Cosmetics Fuel Leak (Rubber hose near fuel pump located on top by gas tank by the right rear wheels)
The 6.9 was selling new for $50,000 in it"s day! With the very low production numbers of the 450 SEL 6.9. Great demand has been growing for this model. Some 6.9 Restored are selling for $20,0000, $60,000, $73,000! (Prices Classic Mercedes magazine)
The car will be sold without warranties, without insurance. As is condition. Buyer responsible for car pickup at buyers expense.
Bill of sale and title will be given upon completion of sale.
Please e-mail any and all questions!
The sale is final once the car leaves my property.
Cash or Paypal only.
Again, any shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
NOTE: Paypal will be verified before release of vehicle.
