1978 MG Midget MK IV Convertible!
AS IS : Up for grabs is a great 1978 MG Midget MK IV Convertible! This car would be a great project for the MG enthusiast. Everything is there, just needs some minor work to get it back on the road.
Pros: 1) 90% of this car is original OEM parts including all lenses (minus headlights), top, interior components, carburetor, wheels, and body panels. 2) Car starts and idles under it"s own power. 3) All electrical components appear to be working as designed. 4) Interior is in very good shape for the age of the car. Dash pad is the only interior component in need of attention. 5) Clean FL title 6) All tires (including spare) relatively new (manufacture date of 2015)
Cons: 1) Clutch is not working 2) Although paint work is decent, it is not original or factory color (factory yellow car) 3) Hood hinge on passenger side is broken, need replacing. 4) Unable to determine odometer accuracy. (only has five digits, could possibly be over 100k miles but only showing 13k) 5) Body has minor rust on left rear quarter panel and floorboards.
Vehicle is located in sunny Daytona Beach, FL. Shipping can be arranged at buyer"s expense to anywhere in the continental United States.
