Vehicle description
1964 MG Midget with fiberglass Speedwell front clip. Built as a drag car, has fire suppression mounted, 5 point Simpson harness, Autometer gauges, custom roll bar, nitrous, Kirkey aluminum containment seat, battery kill switch, custom 6" chop on the windscreen, custom rear flared wheel arches, Superlite Perfomance Series alloy wheels (13x6), and Goodyear Eagle slicks.
Still pretty dusty from sitting in a warehouse, but a shop vac and some rags will take care of that.
Now for what it DOES NOT HAVE, an engine and transmission.
I had planned to install a BMW K1200r engine and transmission that I have and can include for an extra charge. It was built for a legends racer, putting out well over 200 HP with custom cams and computer.
Another option I was considering is using a Nissan SR20DET engine and trans. These can easily be set up to put out 400 HP without changing anything internal and are a fairly easy install, given the small engine compartment. They are fairly easy to find and not insanely priced as well.
Either way, it will make for one hell of a fun ride!
