“Car was repainted by a previous owner. Paint looks good, but has some blemishes. Interior was autumn leaf, but was stained black. There is some minor rust on the passenger side door and front quarter panel. That's the only rust I can see or know about. The rest of the car is pretty rock solid.” |

Vehicle description
1976 MG Midget. Repainted Brooklands Green. Runs great. Odometer shows almost 48,000, but I imagine it has rolled over at least once. I purchased it in Seattle, Washington in December of 2014 and have put a lot of new parts on it. Those new parts include: Robbins convertible top
AM/FM radio Rockford Fosgate speakers Seat belts Radiator and hoses Valve cover gasket Webber electronic carburetor Intake manifold Exhaust manifold Custom header Distributor Alternator Battery Windshield washer motor Windshield wipers Side view mirrors Front slotted disc brakes Front ceramic brake pads Brake master cylinder Clutch master cylinder Comes with new parts and tools you need to do more work yourself. New Autumn Leaf seat covers for both seats and one seat pad will be included. New rear drum brakes and pads will be included. I also have the specialty tools to install the Robbins top if you ever need to do that again (although it is registered with Robbins and guaranteed for life). Drives really well. Needs a new suspension and steering. Also needs wheels and tires and a new muffler. The interior was stained black (from Autumn Leaf) by a previous owner, so you will need to invest in new carpet and interior panels to bring this back to it"s original glory. Paint is pretty good, but does have some minor nicks and scratches. Only minor rust on the right door and right front quarter panel, but I think some grinding and a little body work can take care of that. The rest of the vehicle is solid. I used it as a daily driver in Seattle for a few years, but haven"t been able to enjoy it since moving to Raleigh. I want someone else to finish up what I started and enjoy this British classic for many years. It is already registered with the NC MG club. It is currently garaged in Wake Forest, NC.
