Hello European car fans! !
Here"s a nice old honest car. Well cared for and ready for its new caretaker. Being a California car it does have the benefit of being totally rust free. Zero rust body.
This is a registered, insured daily driver. We recently took it on a Covid get out of town roadtrip to Utah, Az and Las Vegas. Its a real cruiser.
With its long wheel base it is a pleasure to drive on the open roads. It does not smoke or have any funny noises. New Bosch battery, fluids, brake inspection, cat back exhaust for the smog needed states. It is all original except for the am-fm cd player.
That being said it is a driver quality car, not a show car. I drive it as is but a new owner may want to have the seats, paint redone. The interior is really nice with the exception of the dried out seat hides and a necessary dash cap was installed. Door panels, carpet, rear package tray, headliner etc are really nice and original.
Heater, lights, gauges including clock all function as they should. It needs a new radio antenna mast. The speedo works, the odometer stopped working at 80k so mileage is estimated. Of course the ac will need to be inspected for functionality and the tires are 4 years old or so.
The chrome and glass are all real nice. This is a light resto needed or drive as is car. The exterior paint is not original and has scrapes, blemishes, fading here and there. A presentable 10 footer.
At a cold start it idles high till it warms up and needs a little coaxing when warm once in a while. Not an issue with drivability at all.
