Vehicle description
This Midget was owned by an older lady that had it restored roughly 12 years ago. It was driven less than 500 miles since and sat in her garage most of the time. We have receipts for a complete new interior, including seats, carpets, door seals, window seals, rebuilt engine, including new pistons, camshaft, bearings, new brakes, master cylinders, brake lines, tires, folding top, and exhaust. It also has a Pertronix electric ignition. The car was repainted the original Damask Red. It includes a factory tonneau cover and folding top boot. The pictures are current.
The car needs to be cleaned and waxed, having been in storage. The fuel gauge does not appear to work. The blue indicator light on the dash for the high beams is damaged (fell off). The chrome on the bumpers needs to be polished or more likely replated. The battery is dead. The brakes need to be bled.
The car starts with a jump and runs. The gas is old and probably the carbs need to be cleaned, but the car does run well considering. I have been periodically driving it over the last month around our rural farm community to keep it limbered up. All gears work. The engine has roughly 60psi of oil pressure when hot and the water temp stays in the normal range.
I have a clear title in my name.
The car is located in Newberne, WV.
I am looking for a Triumph TR3 and a Bugeye Sprite and would consider trades.
