“The paint is in good condition but has been outside the whole time. You can see there is some missing trim. The person I bought the pickup from said the engine was rebuilt. I looked under valve cover while replacing a gasket and the engine appears to be spotless on the inside. The engine runs great but there is a slight tick in the engine. I researched forums and it seems to be a standard noise with these trucksI can’t make any claims about how good the engine is but I have driven it a lot and it seems to be in great shape. This pickup will need new tires as these have dry rotted from sitting all those years. Some of the gauges need fixed but all in all this is a pickup you can put new tires on and drive it.” |

Vehicle description
1973 International Harvester Model 1210 Pickup 4 x 4 392 V8 Engine I have decided to sell my 1973 International Model 1210 Pickup 4x4 Truck. Like most car guys I realized that I have to many projects and some must go. Here’s what I know about the pickup. I purchased it from a local farmer who owned the pickup for years. About 8 years back he had it completely repainted and spent a lot of time and money fixing it up to be a daily driver. At some point he parked it and never drove it again until I bought it. The paint is in good condition but has been outside the whole time. You can see there is some missing trim. The person he bought the pickup from said the engine was rebuilt. I looked under valve cover while replacing a gasket and the engine appears to be spotless on the inside. The engine runs great but there is a slight tick in the engine. I researched forums and it seems to be a standard noise with these trucks. My goal was to put a LS engine and 700R4 into it and make a kick ass pickup. I can’t make any claims about how good the engine is but I have driven it a lot and it seems to be in great shape. This pickup will need new tires as these have dry rotted from sitting all those years. Some of the gauges need fixed but all in all this is a pickup you can put new tires on and drive it. The engine is a 392 V8 backed up with an Automatic transmission. The 4 wheel drive works great. This pickup seems to have been cared for its whole life and just needs a new home.
