Vehicle description
1973 Cadillac Calais. ALL ORIGINAL. Low miles 79,821 Liquidating Part of a (10) ten car private collection. The car runs very well. The engine and transmission run extremely smooth. The car did need some work when I acquired it in the fall of 2017. The following items need attention and or do not work. 1. 1. Cruise control. 2. 2. AC needs to be recharged. Heat and defrost works great. 3. 3. Very small surface rust developing near front right fender and various other spots particularly in the rear area. T The following work has been done: 1. 1. Valve covers replacement. 2. 2. Power steering hose. 3. 3. Sway Bar Link. 4 4. Transmission pan gasket 5. 5. Timing. 6. 6. Water pump. 7. 7. All belts. 8. 8. Spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor and all wires. 9. 9 . Oil Change. 11 10. Various oil leaks that was minor in the past. (THE CAR DOES NOT LEAK OIL). The previous owner did replace the complete exhaust system. It still looks new. The car is completely original and I have all service records going back to 1980. It really is a gem of a car and I would not hesitate driving it anywhere, The car has always been parked in a heated garage. Driven only during the spring and summer months. We have all receipts/warranties (1980- 2018) for all the work done on the car. All service records/original manuals and the car cover will be given to the purchaser. Thank you for looking.
