Vehicle description
meet Betty:
This car has been in the family since 1972; My aunt inherited from her sister in 1986; I inherited from my aunt in 2005. She runs perfect and starts right up.
I started to refurbish her and took off the rag top as it was in poor condition; then sanded as much as I could and put primer on. The back window was taken out to repair rust, and that was the last I"ve worked on it.
I"ve taken off all the chrome and polished it; purchased a new set of the rubber that goes around the windows, etc.; have the automobile parts book, a paint color chart, and a booklet that came with it when it was new. The tires were recently purchased and only have a few hundred miles on them.
Most of the receipts for all the work that has ever been done on the car has been maintained.
But at this point she needs a man"s help that knows what they are doing to put her back to her original beauty. Please ask any questions. P.S. The second picture is what she looked like before I started sanding, primer, etc.
