This is a 1962 Buick Electra 225 401/auto car. Drive as is or restore. I found it sitting in a field un touched since the mid 90"s. I rebuilt the carb and she fired right up. Itll still needs some tuning and tinkering but I believe the motor to be usable as is (it was puffing some smoke but not horrible). The transmission works well in L and R but once put in D it acts as if its slipping or not quite enough line pressure. I have not looked into this other than making sure it was full and not low on fluid. The gas tank also needs cleaned out and sealed, it currently is running off of a small can under the hood. I do have a brand new sending unit for the tank. It has an electric seat and windows which all work with some "fidgeting" of the window switch. All the glass is good and most of the interior is usable as is. Missing passenger side rocker molding. The power brakes work, they probably could use a flush but it does stop just fine. I am missing 1 hub cap but all 4 tires are brand new. Appears to have a small amount of rust in the quarter panels and the trunk pan will need some patch work but the rest is in very good shape. Id love to keep it but I have too many projects and in the process of building a house. I don"t think you"ll find a car as nice as this for the price I"m asking.
