Vehicle description
We are Euclid Car Co at 1241 E. 286th St., Euclid, OH 44132. Thank you for looking at our vehicle. You will need a Paypal account to bid. Our hours of operation and pickup times are Mon - Fri from 10AM to 4:30PM. Please do not message us through eBay, only by our phone number. We do not read texts. Phone calls only. If for some reason we don"t answer the phone, leave a message and we promise to call you back as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the vehicle, call Stan at 216-598-7011. If you win the vehicle, please send a $500 non-refundable deposit to our Paypal account within 12 hours. Full payment due in 3 days. is letting anybody bid, regardless of your past history. If you as a buyer have not bought at least 3 items in the last 3 months, you need to call us before you bid or your bid will be immediately removed.
We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any. Balance is to be paid by check, cash or wire transfer only. Please send us your name, phone number and address directly through so we can work out the paperwork and delivery after deposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork, which is the doc fee and title transfer and 45 day tags are available for $25. We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer is responsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’s the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding . We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. The reason all deposits are non-refundable is because when someone bids, that means they are 100% satisfied with this vehicle. They have either seen the car, sent out a third party, or are willing to accept the car with my pictures and my word, which may not be the same as theirs. Please don’t come out and re-check the car, see if your family member likes it, then decide you don’t want it, because then your $500 deposit will be gone. The trust I’m giving all buyers to 100% check the car out before the auction is the way this auction is being run. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car. If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you"re buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you"d like to call him for a price, that would be fine. All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don"t have enough space to store everyone"s cars after they"re paid for. It"s the buyer"s responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer"s side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven"t purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you"re a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us. Thank you for looking at our 1968 Cadillac Calais 4-door with 21K actual miles and a clean title. We bought this car over the summer in Pennsylvania from a guy who was selling it for a friend. Apparently, the car was driven from 1968 until 1980 and it was sitting in the garage for 40 years. He got the car out, got it running, put a carburetor on it, and we bought it from him. But the car from that point need mechanical work and cleanup. The first thing we did was put on 4 brand new tires, a tuneup, and an air pump, and a few other things to get the car running correctly. We drove the car back to our shop, touched up a few spots from sitting in the garage, and we believe this car has 100% all original paint except where we touched it up. The interior of the car probably has one of the nicest Cadillac interiors for being 53 years old. If you look at the driver"s seat where you sit down, there"s zero wear and tear and the seat cushion itself still sits up like it"s new. I took pictures of the underneath of the vehicle and it"s absolutely beautiful how nice the floors and frame are. I did notice it needs a tailpipe but the exhaust is not loud on the car. This car seems to drive well, but in the power driver"s seat you can hear the motor turning in the seat, but it"s not moving back and forth like it should. It will need to be repaired. The front end and rear end seem good, and the brakes stop the car but they should be cleaned and re-adjusted. It has a newer alternator also, which charges the car fine, but the alternator light and idle stays on. But when you give it gas, it goes off. All 4 power windows work correctly, the wipers work well and I just put new blades on. This is definitely a great cruiser that you can bring your whole family in, not trying to squeeze 2 people in a little sports car. So if you"re looking to buy a clean old original Cadillac to drive to cruises, dinners, or wherever you"d like to go, with just a little bit more love put into this car, we know somebody is really going to have a ball with it this summer. We have a Flickr slideshow on the bottom of the ad for you to check out more photos of this car. GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS! CLICK HERE TO VIEW MORE PHOTOS OF THIS CAR - - - - - - - - > X X
